Differentiation is always an issue in the real world of teaching. In the Nationals, because it is possible to achieve a further qualification by simply completing more units, students can genuinely personalise their learning. Managing their choices is then the issue, and is what this system is designed to do.

This little form can thus have a big effect on learning (and behaviour issues as we know can stem from poor engagement). Students like to feel they are individual, and really like to choose their interests.
