We are doing all of our evidence electronically - I've have had enough printing, marking, losing, re-printing, correcting, re-printing, disassembling, removing, poor hole punching, misaligned reassembly,... to last a lifetime in GCSE ICT! You can see on the right hand side of main menu, for each unit, drop down boxes which open reports summarising and ordering the students' progress. As students come into the classroom they see their progress. This has leant a very progressive competitive edge to the class, with students striving to get to higher levels, or even being the first to get to the next level. The colour scheme has a disproportionate effect in motivating them too - their names in lights syndrome perhaps. |
